TUTORS

William Cumbelich is a recent UC Berkeley graduate with a degree in Genetics & Plant Biology.  He intends to pursue a career in the food and biotech industry. He has more than five years of tutoring experience, ranging from working as a teacher’s aide in elementary school math classes to individual tutoring for calculus. He scored in the 99th percentile on the SAT and ACT and earned perfect scores on the AP Calculus AB, AP Language & Composition, AP US History & AP US Government Exams. He currently researches plant fungal disease resistance. When not studying for his classes, William enjoys playing baseball, reading and watching sports with friends. 

Kira Fleischer is a sophomore at the University of California, San Diego majoring in Statistics and Probability. She earned a perfect score on the AP Statistics exam as well as top scores on the IB Math, Biology, History, Economics, and Psychology exams. She has been tutoring subjects from math to biology for the past 3 years. Kira aspires to work in data science or machine learning after graduation. In her free time, she enjoys reading, playing volleyball, and working out.

Stella Masuda is a freshman at Stanford University with an intended major of Economics. She has several years of tutoring experience in math, history, English, and chemistry. She earned perfect scores on the AP Calculus AB, AP Chemistry, AP Art History, AP European History, and AP World History exams and scored in the 99th percentile on the SAT. Her hometown is Los Angeles, where she loves going to the beach and exploring places to eat. In her free time, she enjoys crocheting, running, and spending time with friends and family.

Madeline Abrass is a Master's student in Biology at UC San Diego. She attended UCSD for her undergraduate studies, where she earned her B.S. in Human Biology. After finishing her Master's, she aspires to pursue an MD/PhD. Madeline scored in the 99th percentile on the ACT and excelled in her AP courses, earning perfect scores in AP Environmental Science, AP Psychology, and AP Art, as well as high scores in AP Biology, AP Calculus AB, and IB Physics. Beyond academics, she enjoys surfing and photography.

Jared Arbolario is a sophomore at UC Berkeley majoring in Mechanical Engineering. He aspires to work in prosthetic and orthopedic design and manufacturing. He scored in the 99th percentile on the SAT with a perfect score in Math. He also earned perfect scores on the AP Statistics, AP Music Theory, AP English Literature and Composition, and AP Calculus BC exams in addition to receiving the AP Capstone Diploma for excellent scores in AP Seminar and AP Research. In his free time, Jared likes to train judo, practice piano, and cook.
